It was a similar story for Princes St B for their visit to Crosby D. Just an excellent all round performance from the hosts in this one. Princes St C, stayed in second place after a very good 9-1 home win against Argyle C. Unfortunately, the visitors snapped up both doubles, which included a Barry Davis full quota of wins, to secure a ‘share of the spoils'. Mark Barnes returned for the hosts, but Jonny Cummins with two single successes was the key to them taking five of those eight single contests. In Division 1, Formby Village A hung on to top spot after an enthralling draw away at Southport A. Both captain Ciaran Lynch and Josh Tomlinson were the stand out performers in a 2-8 victory. Crosby’s young guns their B team were also in fine form, away at Argyle B. In the Premier Division, it's a case of ‘Catch us if you Can’, as Princes St A continued their irrepressible form with a 1-9 victory at Waterloo A, where having a player short didn’t help the Waterloo cause.Ĭrosby C kept pace with the leaders after recording the same winning margin at home to Argyle A, but trailing by 31 pts is looking to be a ‘bridge too far’.
